I love making chicken for myself and my family. This is one of my favorite recipes when I am tired and want something juicy and tender to make me feel fresh. This is the best recipe for having breast cooked most easily along with the homemade teriyaki sauce with many simple ingredients.

This is a simple dish recipe and you can follow these steps:

  1. Add soy sauce, water, and garlic to the pan. Then add ground ginger and vinegar. You can also add rice vinegar for taste and add the red peppers to the saucepan.
  2. It would help if you boiled these things.
  3. Add some of the cornstarch to make a slurry. This will help to thicken the sauce.
  4. Stir the sauce for 1 to 2 minutes. And then remove this from the heat.
  5. The sauce is ready to be served.
  6. You can also store this for 3 to 4 weeks.
  7. Add some of the shrimp or veggies of your choice.
  8. Now combine the ingredients all together on medium heat.
  9. Bring it to a boil. Then take some chicken breasts, add sauce to them, and bake them. You can serve them with rice.

Homemade teriyaki sauce is great with steamed white rice, and you can also make chicken fried rice. There are so many side dishes that go well with the sauce. They can be roasted Asian vegetables or lettuce wraps, hot and sour soup, or cream cheese wontons.

How Can You Spice It Up?

I want to add some steamed veggies such as broccoli, onions, and bell peppers to this. You can also add a tablespoon of Sriracha sauce to enhance the mix. My kids also like adding some sesame seeds to the rice and chicken.
