Yay! It’s picnic season! There is nothing better than enjoying the feast which is great outdoors and indoors as well. I like to plan a picnic for my friends and family which totally depends upon the feast they want to have outdoors.
I like to plant it on the lawn which is wide and beautiful with wonderful flowers. I collected a wide range of recipes which suit my family and are loved by everyone. All you need is a good picnic in this wonderful summer.
My family is not planning to go abroad this summer so we are listing some of my favorite picnic ideas which I want you to learn as well. This starts from sandwiches to wraps and till the lovely salad on the sides.
Happy picnicking!
1. Ultimate Quiche Lorraine
Quiches are one of my favorites when I want to go on a picnic. They are simple and easy to make. They are portable as well and can be served warm or cold as per demand. This contains ham and cheese and some crispy pastry base with smoky gruyere.
2. Smoky Chorizo and Manchego Quiche
This is a traditional quiche in which I like to add the flavor of smoky sausages and some nutty manchego cheese. This is for the posh picnic I often repeat with my husband or you can share it at a party.
3. Egg and Cress Club Sandwich
This is more like an elite version of an egg club sandwich in which you can add a variety of flavors. Just secure this firmly with the skewer and then serve.
4. Stuffed Rainbow Baguette
This is a kind of recipe which will paint your table with colors. It also acts as an eventful activity for the kids to assemble their own stuffed rainbow baguette. This is filled with beetroot and red peppers and carrots and green leaves. Just wrap it with the parchment pepper and give it a go.
5. Vegetarian Wraps
This is more like a DIY element to fill out your tummy which is filled with a variety of veggies. It is a flatbread recipe with roasted vegetables along with herb sauce and spicy green sauce.
6. Fish Finger Hot Dogs
This is more like a twisty classic fish finger recipe which I also like to add in my daughter’s lunch. It is a perfect picnic treat and mess-free. I like to combine light salty homemade fish fingers in fresh hotdogs with some crispy fresh salad.
7. Epic Summer Salad
This is truly epic in nature which is great with the loaded fresh ingredients such as the tomatoes and the avocados along with spinach and mango and cucumber. It is covered with the tasty herb dressing along with feta.
8. Pesto Pasta Salad
If someone in your family or friend circle on the picnic is vegetarian then this will be a treat for them. It is easy to make with colorful vegetables. I like to add creme fraiche as well to make it extra creamy.
9. Warm Chickpea Salad
If you want to go for a budget-friendly and delicious salad on the go then warm chickpea salad is the one. It has an ideal base for chickpeas which has a filling salad option which leads to the Mediterranean veggies on the top. I like to add onion rings to make it more presentable.
