Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 1 cup fresh mango chunks
- 1 cup chopped pineapple
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
Prepare Fruits
It is advised to use ripe fruits and before preparation, they should be washed well and then cut into small dice. This will be the best way to get the best flavors of your fruits and hence your sorbet will truly be delightful.
Blend Ingredients
Blitz all the ingredients together in the blender. Mix until it forms a good and creamy consistency. The mixture should be thick and the texture velvety leaving a hint of what is to be expected in the finished product which is refreshing this.
Freeze Mixture
Spoon the blended fruits into the pint container of the Ninja Creami. Close tightly and freeze the container for at least one day; up to one week.
Process in Ninja Creami
Take the frozen container out of the freezer, and place it into the Ninja Creami machine. Finally, choose the ‘Sorbet’ function and let the ice cream maker do the rest of the work. The Ninja Creami will blend the fruits to achieve a creamy consistency like sorbet and the fruits can then be eaten.
Serving
Scoop the freshly made sorbet and keep it in bowls or cones and it will be best to take immediately. That is the burst of the fruity taste that everyone will enjoy with every bite.
Tips and Tricks
Use Fresh Fruits
Ripe fruits are preferred and give the fruits the best taste and feel because they are juicy. Frozen fruits should be used though using them will change the texture of the sorbet. It’s better to use fresh products for the best result and the most intensive, alive taste.
Adjust Sweetness
Add honey according to the sweetener’s taste but for my recommended preference it should be modest. If you want a very tart sorbet, then try reducing the quantity of honey you intend to use. In case you don’t prefer honey then you can replace that with syrup of agave or maple syrup if desired a different flavor.
Experiment with Flavors
There is no problem in combining different fruits. Some of the natural blends that you can make are the blueberry-peaches, raspberry-lemon, or kiwi-lime for example. You could drizzle coconut milk over it for a richer input, or you could spoon a blob of yogurt for the same reason.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use frozen fruits?
Yes, you can use frozen fruits, the texture might be slightly different, but the fur meat will turn out just as tasty. It is, however, considered effective to use fresh fruits, particularly in achieving the best outcome since they add the best consistency and flavor.
How long does the condition last?
Excess sorbet should be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator so that it does not become hard and is proper for consumption for up to one week. It’s ideal to let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes when ready to indulge, to allow it to become scoop-ready.
Can I add dairy?
Indeed, one could add coconut milk or yogurt to the meal so it takes on a creamier feel. This can be appropriate if you would love a denser and much more luxurious sorbet.
